Oh. My. Lord. My heart will never recover from this one. I am admittedly a pretty obsessed HP fan (minus JK being a piece of trash human for her truly atrocious views of the trans community). I want to say to anyone else that loves the HP world-YOU HAVE TO READ THIS!!! In my mind, it’s not a fanfic, it’s canon. It’s truly that good. This is the first fanfic I’ve read and I’m so so SO glad I did. Lupin has always been one of my most favorite characters and this book makes him even more wonderful. The author does an incredible job of giving depth and life to these characters. I feel like I know all of them so much better now. And also, Marlene, Mary, freaking GRANT! The “secondary� characters are just as well written as the primary characters and it makes it all the more beautiful. It really is a special book. I loved it so very much.
