The Book Thief

Wow.
Everyone needs to read this book.
This is not my usual choice in book genre, and I was a little iffy when I picked it out. But the reason that I chose to get it was because I was really intrigued by the writing style, and by who was telling the story.
This story is so many things, that I can't even sum up how powerful it is.
It is uniquely written and told from a very interesting perspective.
It is frightening.
It is sad.
It is deep.
It is emotional.
It is touching.
This is probably the most touching book that I have ever read. It is so character driven, that everyone in this book is like a real person, everything that they do and say makes you think about it even when the cover is closed.
The Book Thief tells a story about a girl living in the worst of times, and how she is able to find love, hope, and light in almost every situation. Although things are tough, and she lets it get to her sometimes (which is allowed), she powers through, and in the most inspiring ways. She has a way of touching everyone in the book, and definitely a way of touching the readers. She makes wonderful friendships and relationships, and the people that she loves, will make you love them too.
Truly a wonderful story.
