it was ok

It started off okay but never developed. It was completely lacking in emotion. Awful behavior and no one ever gets called out. No one discusses anything. The time period felt off. No one could make the journey to NY?? Not even a mention of 9/11? A friend said it perfectly - more like a rough draft than a finished book.
