short story.... finding Jack and Nick, at a bar in Boston, watching a baseball game (one rooting for Boston and the other for NY)...
the man between them, an IRS man, is to meet a gangster, whose returns he will be checking... he expects broken legs...
but Jack and Nick step in, take care of the problem, and head to bars in opposite directions to finish watching the game.
