This reads like a New Yorker cartoon where an animal is anthropomorphized and comments on human society. This could have been gimmicky but it was overall really well executed-- tight observations and writing. Using a mountain lion to comment on issues like homelessness brought a needed remove from the normal talking points.
This was clever and urgent and I'd recommend it to folks like me who like the idea of satire but don't usually enjoy it.
