If there is an embodied and materialized contradiction in one object, it is the Stranger. On the one hand, it is a magnificent children's book - and on the other hand, it is such incredible propaganda that one feels sick to one's stomach at the thought of how effectively the comrades have affected and managed to process the already childish soul. So one must choose. (And I reject the talk of "don't drag politics in here" for good reason - the author himself unmistakably dragged it in when he wrote that communist utopia-glorifying piece.
