Pen Pal

Let me start with this is a paranormal romance. If you’re not into paranormal, you won’t like it. And, this book basically has nothing to do with a pen pal from prison. The synopsis will not help you with this book at all. 😂😂😂
Also, if you get easily distracted or miss parts of the story, you will get very confused. Even focusing on this story, there are moments of confusion and it can be difficult to follow a long.
There are some unanswered questions even at the ending.
I enjoyed the ending but I almost wish the book had started with the ending instead of dropping it at the end and having us rush to find all the pieces of the puzzle. It honestly gave my brain a big wtf. Lol!
The narration is great. It really makes the story. I love that Troy can go from his rough voice to a straight generic Skyrim character. Lol!
I personally saw this as a straight paranormal and suspense novel then a romance. The intimate moments are kind of in your face at firsts and then become non-existent. You’ll find yourself annoyed at the beginning and then wanting more towards the end.
Overall, I’m really happy that Aidan and Cayla are together, wherever they are. It’s a good story.
