A bad attempt at thinking about the New Testament as literature, Keefer offered several mildly interesting interpretations of New Testament books, but the book never cohered. If there is a thesis, it is that Keefer is encouraging us to think about the Bible as literature, but it is never clear what that means because he never defines literature.
