This is so monotonous and boring and Violet is a nonstop whine bag. “Oh heavens, I just can’t trust Xander. Omg, when can I trust Xander? Why won’t Xander tell me EVERYTHING?�� How about cuz last time he did you couldn’t block your mind properly and people died because of you. Use some sense girl!!

Manufactured romance drama. Giant plot holes. Way too long. It reminds me of Fifty Shades of Grey in the way that it was this enormous, popular hit, but was also really badly written. It’s so weird how certain books speak to large groups of people and others don’t. It’s almost never about the actual quality of the writing

Soooooo……most people loved this and hopefully you will too. Me, I want Violet to die and Xander to get with the leader girl of the griffins 🤷‍♀��.

12/05……finally back to finish the book. I really enjoy the fighting & dragon parts. Strong 4 stars. Loathe the ridiculous relationship drama. 1 star for that. Going to average them to a 2
