I hate this book. I'd burn it, but I got it on kindle.
Also, this isn't a romance. It was marketed as one; I thought it would be one, but it wasn't. It was a bad, horribly written book centered around an abusive relationship. The fact that this was published
(as a romance, no less) honestly astounds me, and I love stories like this - even if they are dark. And the fact that I was told this was "super emotional" is just plain b*llsh*t. This wasn't emotion at all - the most feeling I had throughout the entire story was when LILY BLOOM BLOSSOM (still can't get over that name) was almost r*ped. But then again, not much emotion. There was literally no chemistry between any of the characters. Oh, and I hated the characters, especially Ryan or whatever his name was. He was a creep from the beginning, and Lily was just plain stupid. She got married after dating him for six months. Not to mention her flower store - like a gothic flower store sounds really cute but marketing it towards people who hate flowers is stupid.
AND THEN THERE WAS ATLAS. God, I despise Atlas. He seriously needs to be locked away. He was literally an adult in a relationship with a fifteen-year-old girl, and then when her sixteenth birthday comes around, he takes her virginity when she is legal by a LITERAL HAIR. Like does no one else see how icky this is? Like I don't care if it is "technically legal" it's still wrong. I DO NOT CARE if he is supposed to be the good guy, he is NOT the good guy. I mean, does he want a f*cking medal for not almost-raping and abusing Lily? DO YOU WANT A F*CKING MEDAL?
Um, so yeah. Don't read this pile of garbage (seriously, she writes how I wrote in FIFTH GRADE. I'm not even kidding).
