I work in special education and found a lot of the tactics in the book to be potentially helpful with my more obstinate students. While I don’t agree with his “no compromise�� perspective, I also understand in his situation of recovery hostages it’s perfectly logical and truly the appropriate tactics. In my situation of education compromise helps us ensure students and or parents still feel the sense of control and autonomy they need.
