3.75 stars! Really enjoyed this book! It had great gothic creepy house vibes which is perfect for a thriller. I also never guessed the twist at the end. and the twist just kept twisting! It was so complex which was really fun. Definitely put me in the fall bookish mood!!
The only reason I didn't rate it higher is there were 2 points in the twist that I thought were kind of unrealistic. But other than that I really enjoyed it! I also liked that the main character is a caregiver. I've never read about that job before. That was really interesting.

I also loved this book!! The only things that put me off was the overdescriptivness of the birth, like we did not need to know that much. And the fact she was hooking with that guy, and had to make sure we knew that she remembered him as a baby. Age gap is fine but that just put me off.

Totally agree, too many major twists! But otherwise a fantastic read!
