This book from the very beginning had me in its clutches and RIGHTFULLY so. While it is more of a romance book with fantasy elements/settings, it was still so so entertaining to read. I would recommend this to anyone that is first getting into fantasy, as this is not a high fantasy book.

Anything that Kai Azer says, does or even thinks has me barking and on my knees🧎🏻‍♀️definitely adding that man to my list of book boyfriends. 💞 He was just so sweet and flirty with Paedyn, and it was kind of a nice change personality wise for a MMC in fantasy. Paedyn was a complete badass, it was very cool to read about an mc who lacked powers in a magical world but still managed to kick ass.

The romance had me SCREAMING!!! Their chemistry was just off the charts and the slow burn HIT. I had my pink highlighter and tabs on standby with all the interactions and lines the main character were exchanging 🖊��

Overall, this was a very fun and addicting read. It was very fast paced, and the plot was not too confusing to follow along with. Miss. Roberts I need that second book STAT BC THAT ENDING???? 😮
