I'm sorry.
I found the 3rd person narration just really hard to get into. It recounts of past experiences and memories. But because it's told through 3rd person narration, I just couldn't connect with the character's feelings or personality. I desperately missed first person narration format, when I could feel like I'm going through the experiences with the character. I'd much rather feel that, than just a fly watching on the wall of just what's happening. Perhaps my first mistake was not realizing that this was a memoir.
