I was promised Howl's moving castle x polish folklore. Not Howl's moving castle x polish folklore x EMOTIONAL DAMAGE 😤
Like... I was supposed to read sth cozy. Funny. Not making me weep in the middle of the night. Like... I did not agree to sth like that.
I mean I was like: shut up and take my money (and I still stand by that: shut up and take my money and give me collectors edition or sth). And not like: shut up and take my heart and break it into thousands of pieces. There is a difference between those two for ducks sake (but I can give u my kidney for special edition... just saying... I've got 2...)

Anyways. Moth Mariusz made my day. Leszy Eliasz killed me. Father Paweł made me cry (bc I can only see one particular Mr Paweł and his: przemyślcie to sobie...like XD just kill me already) (+ why not father Mateusz? It would be perfect 😭)
And idk if I finished this book or it finished me (but I kinda thing that it's the latter)

i wish to know jak się czują ludzie ,którzy nie ogarniają pl i to czytają
(tho z drugiej str nie chcę bo mam wrazenie,że dziek tym wstawkom to jest 100x lepsze, albo at least bardziej zabawne)"

SAME! Was not expecting the emotional damage this book was going to do to me. Sobbing.
I started it because it was supposed to be cozy and cute...I did not sign up for crying for a massive hour, but I would do it all again!
I woke my husband up because I was sobbing into my pillow. I cannot wait to reread this one!
Literally bawling to the point where I have a pounding headache, a soaked shirt and snot all over lol. Absolutely gutted by this beautiful story.
I read this review before reading the book, and I WAS STILL NOT PREPARED FOR WHAT HAPPENED! I'm sooo saddd

No LITERALLY the book was so amazing and wonderfully written but the ending to this was so heartbreaking. Was bawling my eyes out for the rest of the book
4 am and i was crying my eyes out� they deserved so much better� hit me a bit like a Celaena x Sam situation😥 in my mind the ending means the Driada was maybe in secret healing Eliasz� body and when it finally recovered he was given back to Liska as a “gift� to say thank you for saving the forest hence his soul started to materialise and her hand finally didn’t just pass through him, she could finally feel him! One can only hope😥
