I am absolutely going crazy right now because today, I was thinking about exactly this book, but couldn't remember the name. I read this my sophomore year in high school and really enjoyed it... I had no idea, because I just bought a whole bunch of historical fiction novels that Philippa Gregory wrote and I'm so excited to read them, even more so now that I know she wrote this, too, and I loved this! I just went ahead and bought this right away because I lost my old copy and I'm so glad to have found it. I was just perusing goodreads hoping to find the title of it, and I DID! SO glad! Yay! Great book, if you liked Gone With the Wind and other epics, this is for you. It's great.
