Outliers: The Story of Success

The main arguments of several chapters were not as convincing as they could have been, but the side-arguments made the book worthwhile anyway. And I guess the only true self-help book is that which doesn't reveal any secrets. Because most of the time we just need to be reminded of important things we keep overlooking.
I am possibly biased towards giving this a good rating because I almost finished "How to make friends and influence people" recently. And the subjects are different, and there's almost 70 years between them. But "Outliers" just makes the other one sound a bit phony. And while it's been said about Dale Carnegie's book that it's still relevant today, I think Gladwell's points would be even more relevant 70 years ago.
