did not like it

Had to give up on this book after 50 pages. I'm a big fan of existentialism and philosophy in general but this book left me completely unsatisfied. Besides a really important idea: that suicide is the only serious philosophical problem, I don't really think The Myth of Sisyphus has much to offer. It's either an extremely tough read or just plain incoherent babble. I'm inclined to say it is the latter. Overall, a huge disappointment.

Naji Tawk I feel the same

Ramanqu I get the feeling as if he writes just for the sake of doing so.. just to reach his wrods count. A waste of money and time.. but the advantage of writing incoherently is that there is always a person who would be left with the sense that they've just read something great but they can't formulate it clearly.

Jacopo S thanks I thought I was the only one feeling disappointed from this philosophy "BRICK"

Aiden O It is hard to read and I have found that I need to reread pages to understand them but if you take your time and sift through the information it is a very good book, to be fair though I am only on page 62 but I do not see how the text could be incoherent to you.

FridaDaCat How dare you calling the Bible of Absurdism "Existentialistic" xD

Lea L I feel the same, i feel like its a bunch of paraphrases and it’s going pretty much all over the place

Jake Whitey one must imagine Camus coherent

Jorge I completely agree. It is difficult that I leave a book unfinished, but I did with this one. It is terribly boring, continuously repeating the same things. I am not going to waste my time trying to understand this.

Sublimation Studios what makes you think it is the latter? camus uses a lot of dense and hard to understand metaphor, but they are definitely purposeful and meaningful. I didn't particularly like the essay or his philosophy in general, but it's definitely solid writing.
