it was ok

I always get sucked in to the "thriller, page turner, twist you don't see coming" genre. The synopsis itself was riveting. I should have quit reading after that. This one did not live up to any of it. First, the title was a complete misnomer. This had nothing to do with a hotel, but rather a B&B-and was referred to as such throughout the story. Second, I saw one of the twists coming early on despite how hard they tried to dance around it. Which got to be monotonous. Third, I was not a fan of any of the characters. In fact, the main character-the wife- I found her to be just short of a crazy loon. The lengths she was willing to go to 'teach her husband a lesson'-just too much. Lastly, I felt like this book dragged on and on. It was a short book, but it just kept going and going and going.....and going. I would have given it only one star but I reserve that for books I absolutely hate and usually don't finish. I gave the second star to myself for finishing it.
