"The Great Gatsby" is a novel I highly recommend. It's not difficult to see why it's referred to as a classic, as it is abundant with powerful symbols and vivid imagery. The characters in the novel, from the mysterious Gatsby to the boisterous Tom, are all very interesting. This novel is well deserving of it's position as one of the greatest pieces of American literature.
