This book took me a long time to finish as it was dense. I think it was well written, and described a lot of great detail about the car industry. I learned many new details about cars and manufacturing in general. It was a bit boring though. It read a little bit like a long research paper that got turned into a book. Overall, it was the non-fiction book I spent the most time with this year, but it wasn’t my favorite. I wish I had read it 30 years ago when it came out so I was more aware of the current state of car manufacturing now and could spot the differences!
