My hopes weren’t high because a few people told me this wasn’t the best CoHo book but I FLEW through it because I wanted to know what was going to happen next!
The story starts off quite heartbreaking in more ways than one. My heart hurt for Beyah and the experiences she endured as a child/young adult.
The end was NOT what I expected. It came together in the most beautiful way! Great elements of hardship/resilience, family truths and sisterhood, heartbreak and healing, etc.
Also, the meaning of heart bones melts your heart at the end!!!
