The story sounded so intriguing and I was honestly thrilled starting it! The first 40-50% of the book just felt like built up to the 'actual' story or plot twist. I was bored at certain times and really had to tell myself to push through. After the story started to pick up speed it also got more interesting and I wanted to continue reading. After chapter 40 things just started getting wild and I was shocked when the plot twist got revealed. The end was so wholesome and I was kinda sad that we didn’t get to see more of Rachel and Bel as a family together. (view spoiler)[and Carter 🥹 (hide spoiler)]
The writing felt kind of repetitive and monotonous at times idk. So as a little quick personal summery, "The Reappearance of Rachel Price" is definitely not as good as "A Good Girls Guide to Murder" but not as bad as "Five Survive".

�� Annabel Price ｡��

I didn’t really have a strong bond to her as a character but she grew on me as the story developed. I understand why she acts a certain way but she was just unnecessarily mean sometimes?! Her sense of humor was on point tho. I understood her suspicion of Rachel and she definitely creeped me out as well but she could’ve been kinder, I mean it was still her mom :/
Certainly not my favorite character of Holly Jackson but I respected her. Also why did Holly have to mention Bels lump in her stomach every 2.5 seconds??? Like we get, she’s uncomfortable but the writing just felt repetitive at times, as mentioned earlier.

�� Carter Price ｡��

She was so cool and honestly my favorite character (with Ash) in this book. The plot twist at the end really came as a surprise to me! Also can we talk about how Sherry probably forced an ed on her. She always told Carter to not eat much to be skinny for her dance classes. In some scenes you could feel Carters uncomforteness :( I also adore Carters & Bels bond <33

�� Rachel Price ｡��

OMG�� I am so sorry for her. I suspected her in the beginning but after the story took turns I started to liked her more. She always just wanted the best for her family and just tried to be a good mom. 😕 The end really broke me��

�� Ash Maddox ｡��

I liked him so much!! 😭 His awkwardness and silly little t-shirts were honestly so cool. I also loved how he helped Bel. We were truly robbed with that ending.

�� I overall really enjoyed this book. Personally, I don’t think it's Hollys best work (nothing will ever beat agggtm) but it’s not bad and definitely worth a try if you like mystery books and Hollys writing.
