It was really good. The MMC had serious trauma he had to work through (child abuse and neglect) before he could love the FMC but the character development was great. Plus the dual POV was so delicious.
I loved that he was obsessed with her from nearly the start, but couldn’t understand why and didn’t know how to interact with her. Their relationship was slow to build but Zoe was a delight. She was patient and kind and her character was consistent.

The world building was fun (with a little suspended disbelief) and I didn’t feel it had plot holes and found no spelling errors.

Also the spice was very spicy and incredibly hot! 🥵
