I thought this book was excellent and the characters were really well drawn. It was tense reading it as the story unravelled. The descriptions of food and cooking in this were exquisite - I am having puttanesca for my tea as a result! I read a review of this in the Guardian after I had finished it which I thought did it a disservice being mean spirited towards the end. I feel the reviewer had missed all the nuance of the characters and Piglet’s relationship with her family. A really good read. Recommended
