FINAL BOOK in the series and my eyes are so tired today from reading non-stop can barely stand to be on my computer... Have to say though I am tired but happy it all worked out with Faythe's final chapter coming to a close in ALpha.. She has been a favorite character of mine to read about since discovering the series 3 short years ago when "Stray" first came out....
In those 3 years and 6 books later Faythe is still not quite there in my opinion, she is still struggling to be a fully responsible adult in the Pride and her love triangle snafu with Marc and Jace that did not get resolved until forever was a real pain to keep reading... However for me now that have read the last book in a little less than a days time all the conflicts are resolved, the choice has been made between her two loves and in becoming Alpha of her Pride Faythe has actually not only come full circle but shown that she has the capability to be a fantastic leader just like her Father was before her..

All through the roller coaster ride that my emotions were on during the story one thing stayed forefront in my mind, this is the end of the series! It has been a long time coming and like so many other fans I have laughed and cried and cheered and booed and generally made a spectacle of myself while enjoying every minute of this whole series! Faythe Sanders is an interesting and well written character and I hope that at some point that Rachel Vincent will give us a look into the future to show what happened after Alpha ended.. I for one would like to know how the Pride fares later on when all the changes take place and the dust completely settled!

I could do like others and write you a breakdown of the book, do not wish to as think this book as well as the first 5 should be read in their entirety and not spoiled in a review!
For anyone who has not gotten a chance at the "Shifter" series you have missed out and now that the entire line up is released run don't walk to get your copies to read and enjoy!!
