I did the opposite and actually watched the show on Hulu PRIOR to reading this book. When I realized it was a book, I had to read it. I found myself reacting a whole lot to this book. Laughing, crying and even clapping (as in YASSS! THANK YOU! EXACTLY!!!) in many of the topics she addresses. Lindy writes with such a fluidity that it just connects with you. This was an endearing, touching and poignant read for me.
Definitely loved and made me seek her other writings in several publications.
