This was a very simple, but sweet story. This would be a great conversation starter about greed and learning to share. I plan to do a read aloud with this one with my students grades pre-k to 2nd.
The illustrations are quite lovely with a very matte, soothing palate.
solid 3 stars. No complaints, not overly excited, but still a good basic book that younger students will also enjoy reading alone.
