really liked it
bookshelves: psychology, recommended

I loved this book because it made clear the principles of existential psychology in a way that was both accessible and logical. My only caveat is that he focuses on European thinkers and seems to dismiss American writers like Emerson, Thoreau and Whitman who had many of the same ideas. If you're looking for information about what a good psychologist does and how therapy ought to work, this book will provide you with a complete understanding. Made me appreciate my therapist even more!
