this book isn’t bad—in fact i’m enjoying it—but at 30% i’m choosing to set it down because it seems too familiar. i feel like i have read it before or it’s reminding me too much of Flynn’s Dark Places (or both). regardless of the reason, i don’t feel compelled to continue because of that.
