This was a good follow up to Brooklyn about a woman who left Ireland for America to start a life and ends up in a relationship. That marriage, we find out in the beginning of Long Island is in trouble because Tony couldn't keep it in his pants and now there's a baby on the way that will be dropped off at Eilis's front steps and she's not having so she returns to Ireland to visit her mother and possibly rekindle a romance with a guy she knew as a teen. It's all for a great sequel but I am very disappointed at the ending but I shouldn't be surprised. Brooklyn left us on a bit of a cliffhanger and this is the same. I am not keen to wait another 10+ years for another installment.
