Oh man where to even begin. First, it was so hard to get into this book that it took me over two weeks during which time I started and completed about a dozen other books. Slowness aside I was so let down. Good Bad Girl was a huge miss for me but Daisy Darker & Rock Paper Scissors were easy 5 stars so I truly hoped GBG was a “fluke��. This book sounded so good but sadly it felt like someone read and loved RPS and wanted to use the same twists. Obviously it’s the same author so of course it’s going to feel similar but the whole kitty=abby thing felt like a lame version of the there were two wives this whole time twist from RPS. The ending was coming together a bit…until it exploded into a million pieces. I’m starting to think the Feeney “flukes�� for me were actually the two I loved (and His&hers which was also pretty good). I’m sure I’ll read at least her next few books “just in case�� but my hopes are small at this point.
