Now THIS is the Poe I love. A rivalry between two families ends with a demonic horse taking the reins. (Pun intended) I've been reading quite a few of Poe's short stories and although his writing is good, these dark tales are what made me fall in love with him in the first place. Apparently this was the first one published under his name, and while it's no "Tell-tale Heart", it definitely has the dark, gothic, feel Poe is famous for. A fun read and a good addition to his collection, I highly recommend it.
