2.5. Two of the three cases they were trying to solve ( the unaliving and graping) were a bit hard not to confuse. I loved the intro to Harry鈥檚 daughter. Didn鈥檛 love the melancholic audiobook narrator for Ballard; I鈥檝e had the same complaint in the past- she sounds drugged. It was overall an okay story but I鈥檓 super disappointed by the very obvious political tone the author depicted. It was so unnecessary. A little mention, sure, but I don鈥檛 want to be able to glean the authors pov on politics so strongly. I read to escape all that trash; we get enough of it everywhere else. Stop it. You鈥檙e ruining an awesome legacy series with that and I took 1.5 stars away for it.
