I’m feeling this with about 100 pages left. I really want to like this book, but am finding the character to be someone I can’t stand. I’d thought I’d find this relatable as someone a few years away from 40, And I have a child her age, but nope, not at all- leaving her kid for two weeks while 30 minutes away having an affair?! The constant lying?! I’m nowhere near perfect but cannot relate to her at all.
I didn't hate it but didn't come close to loving it and the writing? For me nothing special...
Just started part 3 and had to come here to see if it was just me. Glad I'm not alone.

Silly me, I thought beautiful writing led to something worthwhile reading. This is a stupid book. I hated it too. It convinced me that I am OUT OF TOUCH with every American woman under 40. And then, thanks to you all, it didn’t.
