'Now, Mr. Frodo,' said Sam, 'you shouldn't make fun. I was serious.'
'So was I,' said Frodo."

Kate i’m about to start it soon! do you think it’s better than the first?

Erica I am so excited to read this. I have this on hold on Libby.

Andrew Reed Just reread after 20 years, and I was kind of thinking to myself, it’s great, but is it kind of missing something vs Fellowship? Too episodic and more setting up for the final book(s).

Then you get to the section where these quotes show up, and it’s just so beautiful. The greatness of the entireLOTR universe gets summed up in their discussion during that brief respite. Yes, I teared up, too.

Jenny h That part and the ents were my favorite in this book
