I spent hours reading this and just had to stop at 25%. The MC was just ugh. I wished she would just go away because all the other characters were great. A joyless time suck.

Glad someone else felt the same way I did. Disappointed as I loved her first book.
Robin, should I even read her first book? It's on my list but I happened to see this one on the new book shelf and thought I'd grab it. What a disappointment...
