This book is WILD! I loved it. Some people thought the beginning was good but then it just went over the top. I thought the beginning was good but maybe 4 star good. I had issues. But then the twists started coming and coming and coming and that 4 star bumped up to 5 faster than Hope’s End falling into the sea: Dang! I loved this one.
I listened to this on audio and Christine Lakin did an absolute fantastic job bringing Riley Sager’s The Only One Left to life.
I want to say so much more, but this book needs to be read without any knowledge outside of the setting is a crumbling mansion on steep, jutting cliffs in Maine. Also the location of multiple, gruesome murders. A home care nurse, accused of murder herself is hired to take care of the alleged murderess. After that, I will say no more. I’m glad to not be an outlier on this one and that I am officially a member of the Riley Sager fan club. Enjoy.
