4.5 “I’m not crying�� stars, rounded down. I sure didn’t expect this one to be so moving! I barely even remember “the Light we Lost�� and see that I only gave it 3 stars years ago. So, I was very surprised that I really enjoyed this story of Lucy without Gabe and her life & kids, but I really, really did. I read it pretty quickly too & I also really appreciated the short chapters. My only negative was the spice 🌶�� between Lucy & new man Dax, but that was easy to skip past, but I did dock a half star for it. Overall, a really good story and a sequel I didn’t even think I needed, LOL!
