did not like it

Oof. I tried the audiobook and it was so incredibly irritating. Maybe I would have liked it better if I read it? But as someone with ADHD, I dont read books much, hence opting for the audiobooks instead.
The vibe of this audiobook was like listening to a radio show. Wayyyyy too much excitement to be taken seriously. I was waiting for some story about committing their lives to Jesus because of the weird, over-the-top upbeat nature of it.
Obviously, it’s good for some people but damn. This really rubbed me the wrong way.

Felicia I feel the same and the wife's voice, OMG, so patronising! I could have done without all the sugary babes every 3 seconds. Some tips shared are valid, but not worth all the annoyance you have to endure to get there. There are definitely much better books out there, written by knowledgeable authors who don't smother their privilege all over you during the entire duration of the audiobook (not sure if the book is any better, but I'd rather move on from these two, thank you very much).

Felicia It was sort of okay at first, but then it kept getting more and more annoying as I kept listening, to the point I just couldn't wait to be done with it.
