did not like it

I am absolutely BAFFLED by the reviews saying this is the scariest thing they've read. I feel like I'm being pranked. Nothing happened in this book. They describe the monster in extremely vague detail maybe 3 times, and I've seen people say they couldn't read the description of it at night. HUH?? I am never trusting Booktok again 😩
