really liked it

Once upon a time, there was a woman who stumbled upon a mysterious piece of paper bearing a man's name. Next to it, a date revealed how long they would be together. One fateful day, she received a slip with the name "Jake," and to her astonishment, it was blank—no ending in sight. Elated, she took this as a sign that they were destined to be together forever. As their story blossomed, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery that unraveled layers of her past she hadn’t fully understood.

While I truly enjoyed the book, I found myself yearning for more. I wished we could have experienced her previous relationships in the present rather than just glimpses of her past. It would have added another layer of excitement and depth! Imagine seeing her navigate her current romances while also navigating her undeniable connection with Jake. That dynamic would have turned the narrative into something even more captivating.

In the end, I couldn't help but feel that a more contemporary approach to her former boyfriends would have elevated the story to new heights!

I thought she would be going out with a bunch of different men whose names are on those papers she keeps getting. I was hoping it would be like that, but it’s not. I may DNF this one. If it doesn’t get any better, I will.
