Another GREAT book by Georgia Hunter. I’m not sure I loved it as much as We Were the Lucky Ones, her first novel but it was close. Her characters are so real and you feel like you have been with them on their jpurmey. It’s a book of survival, hope, sacrifice and people willing to help in dangerous times!

"Wonderful!! Another must read from one of my newest favorite authors. With all the discrimination and hate happening now in our nation, it’s both comforting and alarming to see that good always triumphs. Sadly it seems a lot of pain happens in the meantime if we can learm something from the Nazi occupation of Italy!!"
