I 100% get that this book isn't for everyone (I got a message on Instagram when I shared that I was reading it that said, "Just finished this book. I loathed it. She's crazy, she's passed her crazy to her daughter. She's abusive to her husband. I kept reading because of the great reviews. Yuck.") but for me, it absolutely worked and I blew through it in a day.

I loved it too- and found parts of it relatable. Idk what that says about me if people think she’s “crazy� 🤪

I thought it was poignant…and fairly relatable as I age. 😅
Oh interesting! Took this off my list because of some bad reviews I’ve seen, maybe I will reconsider�
I also related to a lot of what she was going through at that stage of her life. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I didn’t think she was crazy—just extremely self/absorbed. And she WAS abusive go her husbands. And manipulative of her children. I can acknowledge she had some hard life experiences, but I don’t feel Rocky did anything to help herself. So she grated on my nerves from the first page to the very last.
i so wanted to love this. i could appreciate her lovely writing but was so over the top that i really hate-read until the end. i will try her previous book though.
