Yes, I've been a horse lover from my earliest memories, and it was the cover of the book and the title that caught my attention. It was gratifying that the story did not disappoint. I live in a rural community where you know most of your neighbors, and even the ones you don't know show up when there's an emergency. So I enjoyed the sense of community in this tale as well as the stories of the horses. And I learned some history that I didn't know before. So all in all, I think this is a very good read.
