** spoiler alert ** No cause actually wtf. I have so many issues with this book, not sure where to even begin. First of all, this whole idea of writing horror from kids perspective is overdone and doesn’t work. Writing in short, choppy sentences doesn’t make anything better.

Also, how old is this kid??? She calls her parents “mommy and daddo�� (wtaf is a Daddo? Cringe. Big time.), and has no clue wtf the entity “other mommy�� is, but at the same time is well aware of divorce, cheating, reincarnation, death, alcohol/drinking and getting drunk, and other more “adult�� things, but also can’t even put together a puzzle? Idk. Not to mention the audiobook was TERRIBLY done. I know thats not the authors fault but holy crap. I can’t believe I even finished it between the shitty plot, shittier characters, and god awful horrific narration.

Not to mention, why tf is the “answer�� to the problem TELLING UR (1?)4 year old kid about your horrible past decisions to “ruin her innocence�� to make her “less desirable��???? Excuse me??

The main characters are fucking insufferable, and the parents are terrible. No plot, blah blah blah. And the ending?? Okay??? So we had an entire book just for the very thing described in the first 10 min to happen at the end.

Thank GOD no kids actually write shit like this down and ppl listen bc it’s actually so bad. I’d give 0 stars if I could. Way too overhyped. Definitely booktok’s fault. Terrible.
