it was amazing

My ravenous readers. I have been left GUTTED. DISTRAUGHT. In utter AGONY after that ending. So the only conclusion is to drown myself in reading until October 21st and the next book roll around cuz OH MY FOOKEN GODDESS I need it more than I need to breathe! Speaking of breathing I wasn’t. Not for the spicy bits and definitely not for that ending. And there were a lot of spicy bits!!!

how Katelyn did it, but you’ve taken tropes I am not all that fond of, twisted them, and made me fall in love with everything and everyone despite my dislike for said tropes!? This is a thing I’ve noticed, you morph tropes into your own and completely change them for the wilder and better. You brilliant, beautiful, badass writer, you 😭. Thank you so much for the opportunity to read your arc. I am hollow and aching, but it’s fine. Everything is fine 🥲.

Look I can’t get too much into it cuz I’d spoil thingzzzz (but if you want to fangirl or have questions about safe reading, hit yo girl up). But this book is twisted, darkly romantic, and eviscerating all at once. Gods damn, my mind and heart have imploded.

If you love dark academia/dark romance/gothic vibes, if you love several morally black men and a sweet as pie woman, if you love when she doesn’t have to choose and they love that they even get the chance to love her! Deceit is for you 🖤.
