I was excited about the premise of this book, but am rather disappointed having read it. The writing itself felt really boring. And the second gen Russian stuff felt incredibly hollow. I liked that the older generation was the more sexually and relationally ambiguous one, and 20-somethings asking questions about their parents� lives for the first time felt pretty real. So many appealing threads that were dropped in favor of a happy ending love plot� Ultimately a book with a lot of potential and underwhelming execution.
