Excellent on audio and read by the author, of course. This book covers his early years in depth, but is much more cursory about the relative present, which leads me to believe (and hope) that he'll write a second volume. Very readable and honestly written, even if it feels a bit sanitized - which is his right, of course! Full disclosure, I am a huge Drag Race fan - the creativity, the camp, the overall sense of fun, and above all the caring and generous heart RuPaul obviously brings to everyone involved - contestants, judges and stage crew. The warmth just oozes off the screen :) I'd love to see a 'behind the scenes' mocumentary of Drag Race, with RuPaul hamming it up as a mean megalomaniac - that would be a riot!
