I can't believe how highly rated this is.

It was a solid one star for me from the beginning. Sydney is the most annoyingly dumb main character. For example, she is on a terrible date. The man literally insulted her body, and she not only stayed for 45 minutes waiting for a friend to call and save her, but also left with him to conveniently get assaulted?! Wtf.

By Chapter 7: More immature writing, irritating and repetitive "I just want a boyfriend" 😢

It took until page 70 for something semi interesting to happen. But the annoying storyline continues on...

The last 2 twists were okay, but don't mistake that for enjoyment. If I hadn't paid for a hard cover, I would have dnfed in the first few chapters.
